Some examples of social networks are, Youtube, Myspace, Facebook and Dig. Blogs and podcasts are considered web 2.0 as well. Some examples of blogs are Wordpress.com squidoo.com and bloger.com and a great example of a podcasts combined with a social network is the website talkshoe.com.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So what do all the sites have to do with you and better yet how can you use them to build Global Resorts Network? &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Well the great thing about all of these sites is they are free to join. They are also built on a community of people. The trick to this is to not solicit&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;and spam people asking them to look at your company. When searching the internet people are looking for valuable information for the most part. Try to align with that goal in&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;mind and provide good quality content. If you are new there is still plenty of stuff you can talk about. Talk about your system and what you are learning. Compare the Global Resorts Membership with Travelocity Expedia Orbitz. If you had a bad day calling leads share it people can relate where ever you are in the process you have valuable information to share. It stands for always be closing. Throughout the entire process of talking to you a prospect about Global Resorts Network you should be asking trail closing questions. A trail closing question is a question that you ask to check the other persons “temperature” to find out where they are in buying process. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The are several reasons that it’s important to asking trial closing questions.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;They help get your prospect into the mind frame that you are going to be to be asking them to buy the Global Resorts Network membership. The only problem with that is that focus is going to be your main ingredient to success. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;I’m not saying that all of that stuff isn’t important but I am saying learn to schedule out your day properly so that most of your time is spend on what is making you money. You see with Global Resorts Network we are not getting paid for our time we are getting paid for our production. So the more productive we can be in the shortest period of time the more money we will make. That’s the recipe for success get more done in less time with as little effort as possible. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;So lets break down the marketing flow and talk about each step. Lets just get it out in the open and just say that calling leads just plain sucks. It is certainly not a long term business strategy. The best prospect is a you specific, Global Resorts Network lead. Someone that already has a relationship with you because they learned about you on your pages and already understands Global Resorts and requested that you specifically call them. The more of these you talk to the better off you are going to be. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;The way that you create one of these leads is by driving traffic to a capture page that is branding you and your ability as a leader. Then send them through a funnel of information on Global Resorts Network. That way when you call them there is a much better chance of being able to close them on the first call and you wont have to do anything selling most likely they will have sold them self’s. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;There are many ways to drive the traffic as I have mentioned before I would recommend studying, SEO, Google Adwords, web 2.0, Direct Mail, Email marketing and voice broadcasting and pick which one works best and make the most sense to you. In my opinion the most effective way is to give them a call on the phone. It is important to note that don’t want to do some pitch where you throw up all over them all the information about Global Resorts Network. They will either be your team mates or your prospects. They are people who are looking for a quick fix. They want to see results fast and they don’t want to put a lot of effort into getting them. I call it lottery ticket mentality for the obvious reason that what they are looking for is exactly a lottery ticket. They want to throw there money and something and cross there fingers that a truck will pull up in front of their house with a truck full of money. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Lets go ahead and make this clear right now. Your odds of finding this quick fix in the home business industry or anywhere for that matter are just as good as wining the lottery. In fact I think your odds would actually be better playing the lottery. Global Resorts Network is a business not a lottery ticket. Like building any business it takes patience, perseverance, determination, skill and&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;know how to name a few to be successful. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Don’t get me wrong you WILL have lucky breaks with Global Resorts Network.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;There are very emotional ups and downs. For them there is this secret formula that they can find where they will make a ton of money with out any effort or pain at all.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;As leaders we are partially to blame. Knowing that there are these people out there we cater to them. Creating ads that say things like 100% turn key system or fully automated just plug and play. I think you get the idea and know exactly what I’m talking about.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;As a leader of a team probably about 80% of your team will be made up of these lottery ticket minded people. That is the perato principle that seem to apply to everything in life 80/20. They will sign up and in a month when they don’t get the results they were looking for they will either just disappear from Global Resorts Network all together &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;(that’s what happens most of the time) or they will get angry with you. These people will bounce around from opportunity to opportunity looking for their big break only to be disappointed every single time. If there is something you can say to help them than give them a hand if not let them go. We have to come to terms with that. Its not our job to turn them away from our business. There is no way to know 100% who ill perform. Give them all the training and tools that they need. A try it mentality will certainly guarantee failure. If you are not 100% committed and sure that you will be successful you probably wont ever be.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;If you are in fact serious about this business and are in it for the long term there should be one thing that you are laser focused on. That is building a list, a database of subscribers. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Any major business understands that importance of a list. When you see large companies merge and take over other companies its not because they like the other companies name better or product better. It’s their data base of customers that they are really buying. Your subscriber list is everything, it’s the life and blood of your business. There is more to it than just building a list of people interested in Global Resorts Network however.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;It is important to maintain a relationship with that list so that they like you, trust you and want to participate in any and everything you offer them&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So how do you build a list.? This will allow you to collect names, phone number and anything else you want, send automatic pre made emails over a period of time, have different lists for different topics, send out large broadcast emails to people in your campaigns and a lot more. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The next thing you need to do is set up a capture page for either you personally or Global Resorts Network. I suggest that you brand your self. A capture page is a brief website outline some of the features and benefits of what you are promoting with the sole purpose of collecting people information. When the person fills out there info on the capture page they will be added to your data base in Awber. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So once you have these two things set up all you have to do is drive traffic to your capture page. There are many different ways to do this, search engine optimization, Google ad words, buy leads, email marketing, voice broad casting, direct mail, print ect.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;So to sum it up the formula goes like this, drive traffic, capture information, follow up and relationship build.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Once you start building a list it is important to maintain integrity don’t abuse your list. Don’t send 5 emails a day. Never promote something to your list that you your self have not tried. Don’t try to sell them everything you can get your hands on. At the same time make sure you stay in touch with them so they don’t forget about you.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Build a relationship with your list buy sending out useful tips or products that you think might help then. You can attach a affiliate link to these products as well and make money even if they Don’t join Global Resorts Network. Most importantly provide good quality content that they can benefit from. If you list likes and trusts you they will buy from you. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;As far as my automatic follow up messages go when some on first opts in to my page promoting Global Resorts Network. I send them 17 emails that are set to go out over a 30 day period of time. After that I send out updates on team trainings, business presentations,&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;new hot weeks ect… My auto responder messages have one topic and one goal each…. They are meant to help walk people through the information gathering process one step at a time. One email might be inviting them to a conference call, or sending them to the grntour.com web site… I try to keep them short to the point and full of good content not salesy wording. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you can master this art of building a list of loyal subscribes you have virtually built a unlimited ATM machine that you can withdraw from when ever you feel like it. Think about having a list of just 5,000 good subscribers. That are all interested in a home business. You send out one email about a new product that is targeted at that niche that sales for $100 and you make $50 on every sale. If just one percent of the people on your list buy that product you would have just made $2,500 just for sending out one email that took you 5 minutes.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;(50x50=2,500) So my point is stop just looking at what’s right in front of you and look at the long term. They are so terrified that some one is going to reject them say no to them. They get so scared that they don’t pick up the phone, they try to find ways to automate and get people to sign up with out them interacting at all, and most importantly if they do get on the phone for some they don’t ask for the sale. Its that simple… Not doing any or all of those things combined is almost certain to guarantee your failure in this business. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Here is the million dollar question do people ever really even say no? When is the last time that you actually heard someone say no to you? Most people are just as scared of saying no as we are of hearing it. If we can learn to properly recognize objections, keep our cool and navigate through them with ease we will be in a much better position to take our Global Resorts Network business to the six figure level and beyond. We do this by answering with statements ending with questions back to them. For example “Yea this looks good but I don’t have the money” “Sure I understand neither did I when I got started do you have access to any sort of credit by any chance?” That’s just one example of tons of questions that you could ask to probe and check there temperature to see if they really don’t have the money or just don’t want to spend it. You need to pull out the real objection.. maybe they don’t want to spend it because there is something in the information that they reviewed that they don’t understand or read the wrong way.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Never assume anything FIND OUT!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h2&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal;"&gt;Another great way to handle objections is a technique called feel felt found. First empathies with them, telling them that you understand how they &lt;span style=""&gt;feel&lt;/span&gt;. Then tell them about how you or somebody else who &lt;span style=""&gt;felt &lt;/span&gt;the same way.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Then tell them how you or that other person &lt;span style=""&gt;found &lt;/span&gt;that things were not so bad and that when they did what you want the buyer to do they found that it was actually a very good thing to do. For example “I don’t have the money” “Sure John I understand&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;how you FEEL when first looked at Global Resorts Network I FELT the same way&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;I didn’t have the money either that’s why I was looking for something to make money, however what I FOUND was that I could put it on my credit card and the monthly payments would only be 100 bucks a month and after I made just 4 sales I could pay the entire thing off.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Here is how this is explained at http://changingminds.org &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;“By empathizing with how they &lt;i&gt;feel&lt;/i&gt;, you are building harmony with them to create rapport. This also makes them a part of a group such that they do not feel alone. When they are attached to that group, then you move the whole group by telling how the person in the group changed their mind. The buyer, being attached to the group, should change their mind at the same time.” &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Take some time and prepare for the main objections that you hear about Global Resorts Network Be ready for them before they come up but don’t bring them up if the other person doesn’t. When they come up stay at peace and answer them non chalantly and ask a question back. If you are comfortable there other person will be too. Learn to love objections because when they come up that means that you are close to making a sale. The worst thing that could ever happen is someone not sign up and not give you a objection because that means to have no where to go. I would never teach my team members in Global Resorts Network to do this as their primary marketing method. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying don’t go talk to your warm market about your business. To me it just doesn’t make sense to make that your primary method of growing your business.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;To call your self a business and then you make your primary marketing solely your friends, family neighbors people you meet at boarders is such a contradiction. First of all what major company do you know uses&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;only&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;one form of marketing? No successful business limits them self to only one strategy for growth. On top of that they don’t build their entire business just selling to there friends family and people they meet. Its absolutely ludicrous when you put it into perspective. Does Steve jobs friends and family own and buy apple product I’m sure and I’m sure he talks to them about them too but they are not the only people he sells to. If you are going to get serious about running your Global Resorts Network business or any business doesn’t it make sense to look at and learn from the people before you who have built multi million dollar businesses?&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;It’s crazy to me to think that there are other Global Resorts Network leaders out there all over the place teaching there team that all they need to do is make a list of 100 people and they will be successful.. and what’s even more crazy is that people are actually buying it. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Ok lets forget for a second that the idea of only one method and a bad one at that is just a bad way to try and build a long lasting successful business. Who honestly wants to spend every seconded of there free time hounding everyone they know about Global Resorts Network until they don’t have any more friends or family. I mean seriously this is a great way to scare off a lot of people that you are close to in your life. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So hopefully we are all in agreement that if you really want to grow you need to implement multiple strategies to really succeed in this industry. Now this brings up the question what other ways are there to drive traffic for my Global Resorts Network business or my home business? This is were you need to start learning marketing. That is why its called network marketing. To Find success it is required that you learn how to network and how to market.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;There are a lot of really great methods of marketing out there and I will talk about each one individually later but it is important for you to research each one and find what you like the best and even more importantly what works the best for you. It has also been one of the best learning experience in all aspects of my life. Talk about character defining. With Global Resorts Network I signed up 11 people personally in my first two months but that’s because I have learned the process and it doesn’t happen over night. Its funny how ours egos operate we are so full of our self’s sometimes that we think the world is out to get us that we are the only ones with our problems. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;Well I have come to realize that everything I have been through to get where I am someone else has been through that as well. Everything that I think is holding me back the people before me that have gone further than me thought was holding them back as well. We get so caught up in the right now that we forget that there is a process. This is why you have to learn to be solution mined. Stop making up excusing for why are you failing and start asking questions. If you learn to ask your self the right questions than you can find the right answers. Global Resorts Network is just a vehicle its not the end all solution. You have to learn how to drive it.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;You will come to cross roads where you will be forced to make decisions I came to those cross roads a little over a year ago when I was in Coastal Vacations. I stated to do really well and quit my job. I got my bills up to about 5k a month had a nice house car ect. You know the deal. I loved working full time at home. There was no doubt that I was meant to be a entrepreneur. I hate being told what to do, when to do it, you get the point. Anyways I came to a point where I hit a dry spell. I don’t know why. Maybe I got to comfortable and started being lazy. Maybe it was the time of the year. What ever it was I started to run out of money and &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;I started run out of it fast. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;The problem was that I didn’t have money to advertise and pay my bills. Since I wasn’t advertising I didn’t have any prospects to talk to since I didn’t have prospects to talk to I wasn’t making any sales. I think you get the picture and can see the catch 22 I was in. It wasn’t good. To Be honest I was terrified the last thing I ever wanted to do was get a job. They are not that bad until you don’t have to go to them any more. Its kind of like you don’t think you need a cell phone until you have one for a wile now you can leave home with out it. For me getting another job was not a option. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;No on the outside it seemed like there was no hope at all. You have to have money to make money right and I didn’t have any money coming in and a lot going out. I wasn’t going back to a job. So I started to get creative. I started to think of some ways that would cost me a lot of money that I could still drive traffic and create leads. This is when&lt;br /&gt;I started making videos and adding friends on myspace. I developed a whole system to do it like no one else was doing it. I was also getting results like no one else was getting results. I started networking with guys like Steve Isser that were experts at this kind of guerilla marketing and making a ton of money doing. There are so many no traditional ways that you can drive traffic. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;Here is the catch. It was not as steady as my traditional advertising and took a lot more work. The thing is though that I was making money again and with the money I started making I put it back into advertising and got my business jump started again. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"&gt;The point that I am trying to make is not to brag or toote my own horn&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;but to stress the importance of determination. How bad do you want it? If you don’t want it bad enough someone else does and they will get it. So why delay the inevitable just go back and get a job now. If you are determined and always in search for the solution and not focused on the problem you will do very well in this industry. When you come to a cross roads don’t do what everyone else is doing. Don’t follow the crowd like sheep. That’s what employees do. Start thinking of creative ways that you can do it better for less. One thing that a lot of people that are new to this industry get confused it helping and enabling or doing stuff for there team mates. In the long run they are not only hurting them self’s they are hurting there team mates as well. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Just a little side note that is a little off topic the business that I build is Global Resorts Network so when you are reading this entry or any of my later entry you will see me refer to Global Resorts Network or&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;a lot. That doesn’t mean that that you have to be in GRN for this to be true to you. Everything I talk about will apply to any one that is working a home based business and is dependant on there team to succeed if they want to succeed. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Ok now that we got that out of the way… lets continue. It is important to note that a lot of your time and energy should be spend working with your team members teaching them, encouraging them and showing them step by step what to do. Because like I mentioned before there success will be proportional to your success. That one of the great things about this industry is that you can leverage your self and have a team of people all working and achieving the same goal together. This is especially true with Global Resorts Network were you will get paid 1,000 on every sale that your team members make and 1,000 commissions on every single level. Why would you want to spend a lot of your time teaching and helping your team mates if that’s the case.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The problem with most trainers and leaders in Global Resorts Network however is that most people don’t know where to draw the line between helping and teaching and enabling and just doing things for there team mates. What you should be doing is pointing your people to places where they can find the information for them self’s instead of just setting it up for them. By learning this way they will be much more likely to retain the information and be in a better information to do the same for there future team mates. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Don’t spend your days setting up capture pages for your team mates, calling all there leads, setting up there auto responder… tell them where the e-books and tutorials are show them how to make a call. Its ok to make calls for them at first but there is a point where you need to cut them lose weather they think they are ready or not. Even better set up a system like my &lt;st1:place&gt;&lt;st1:placename&gt;Global&lt;/st1:PlaceName&gt; &lt;st1:placename&gt;Resorts&lt;/st1:PlaceName&gt;  &lt;st1:placename&gt;Network&lt;/st1:PlaceName&gt; &lt;st1:placename&gt;Success&lt;/st1:PlaceName&gt; &lt;st1:placetype&gt;University&lt;/st1:PlaceType&gt;&lt;/st1:place&gt; were they can study for them self’s. &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The best way they are going to learn is by amercing them self’s in to the process. That means that you have to have something to sell and someone to sell it. So when people say “In our company there is no selling.” That should immediately send up a red flag. If there is nothing be sold than how are you making money? I just doesn’t make any logical sense. With Global Resorts Network we get paid $1,000 when we SELL a 3,000 membership. With that said we don’t want to be salesy either. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;This is were most people get confused. People have this what seems to be almost innate perception of&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;what sales is. When they think sales they get this picture of a shady car sales man in there head. So guy doing a sales pitch. Talking a lot. Convincing people to buy something. That is not what sales is at all. Its important not to call people about Global Resorts Network and “pitch” them. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;When people tell you I don’t want to do anything that has to do with sales, they are saying that most likely people they are not 100% familiar what sales really is. To combat that we give this impression of our industry that’s its 100% automate, you don’t have to talk to anyone, no sales required. Wile this is a quick fix a band aid if you will. This is not a long term solution to building a success Global Resorts Network business. We sign up the audience that we market to. This kind of marketing attracts weak lazy minded people with a lottery ticket mentality. (I will talk more about this in a later blog.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;What we want to learn how to do and teach our team how to do is ask the right questions. If this is done right the other person will pitch them self’s and convince them self to buy your product or sign up in your business.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;On the first call talking to someone about Global Resorts Network you should spend 10% of the time talking and 90% of the time listening.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Learn to ask questions that engage the other person in the conversation and get them to talk. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The majority of people are going to be naturally resistant to someone trying to persuade them of anyhting. We like when ideas are our own. People are much more likely to take action on there own idea rather than something you are trying to convince them of. Learn to ask questions that will make your idea there idea. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;If some one asks you a question answer there question with a statement ending in a questions back to them.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;As Jeffery combs would say learn to become a “master asker.” For example if someone asks How long will it take for me to make money with Global Resorts Network? In stead of stumbling all over your self trying to come up with the right answer it would be far more effective to say something like this&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;that’s a great question How long do you think it will take you to make money with Global Resorts Network? Let them do the talking. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;A good sales person does not have the “gift of gab”. They have the gift of listening. Learn to really listen to what people are saying. Find there hot buttons. They will tell you what gets them excited and what is going to have to happen for a sale to take place. Some examples of social networks are, Youtube, Myspace, Facebook and Dig. Blogs and podcasts are considered web 2.0 as well. It estimates the cost for the average person of watching TV, over 45 years, is $3.7 million dollars. Now that sounds like a lot, but let me expound on how they got there. First take the $100/month cable bills and invest that into a brokerage account. That $1,200 a year compounded at 8% is a cool quarter of a million alone. Then there are TVs, electricity, movie rental and pay-per-view and not to mention junk -- I mean products -- you buy because you saw them on the Home Shopping Network.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div class="post" id="943023"&gt;  &lt;p&gt;One fact cited -- which really surprised me -- was that for each hour per week of TV watched you spend an additional $200 per year on stuff. According to my calculation that is $3.84 an hour of junk per hour bought because I saw it on TV. As I sit here wearing Reebok shoes and sipping my cool, refreshing Mountain Dew, I think that just can't be right. I do not watch HSN or QVC; but something tells me all those billion-dollar companies only buy advertising for one reason ... it works!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;So this brings up the $64,000 question. &lt;em&gt;Who Wants To Be a Millionaire&lt;/em&gt;? That would require turning off the TV; getting started on those home improvements, getting a part-time job, &lt;span style="background-color: rgb(0, 255, 0);"&gt;or starting that home-based&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="background-color: rgb(0, 255, 0);"&gt;business&lt;/span&gt;. Time is money and just what is your TV-watching time worth? If you are still watching "&lt;em&gt;Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader,&lt;/em&gt;" you may not be.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;It would be terrible if we didn't know what Rosie O'Donnell said about Donald's Trump's hair. Maybe mom was right ....My mind will rot if I watch enough of the idiot-box. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;America is the land of Freedom and Liberty and for all the good it may do; I don't think we should outlaw TV's quite yet. If you want to let your mind rot, go right on and do it. But please don't tell the paternalistic mayors of San Francisco or New York who want to protect me from the evils of &lt;a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/06/25/san-francisco-mayor-takes-on-bottled-water/" _base_target="_blank"&gt;bottled water&lt;/a&gt; or trans-fatty French Fries. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I admit I like my remote control and when it comes to financial bets, I hate to buck the system. If you can't beat them ...join them. So if you have canceled that cable bill and are investing that money how about sticking it in some entertainment companies betting your friends aren't going to have that kind of self discipline. You decide to leave the pasture with the cows and go to the other side which is paradise. To get there however you have to cross the desert. This is a process some people would rather stay in the pasture with the cows because crossing the desert is too far its too hard. Other people realize that this is there calling there is not other option. They can not hold and enjoy a conversation with the cows its all to negative and boring. Which one are you? When you decided to enter this industry of direct sales and network marketing you steep into the desert but you are not out yet you are going to encounter what seems like great success in the desert and great obstacles but these obstacles are what qualify us to get to the paradise on the other side. Let talk about were we started before we decided to go on this journey to paradise. The cow pasture. What is a cow pasture like? Cows just grassing on grass every so often they look at the other cows. How is your grass over there? MOOOO its ok how is yours? MOOOOO its ok. THIS IS BORING FOR US. We want to talk about our goals and our dreams, We want to achieve something.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;We don’t want to talk about how horrible everything is. Drifting through life with no direction just grassing on grass. So we look at that desert. Yes its going to be HOT. Yes it might be far. Yes its going to be hard. But we decide to steep in knowing that’s it not going to be easy. Most of you have made that decision to steep in congralations but its not that easy you are going to encounter something’s along the way. What separates those that make it through from those that don’t is they realize this and they don’t turn back no matter what obstacle presents it self. They know what’s going to happen and they are ready to battle it before it even starts. That is my goal I want to let you know what you are going to encounter in the dessert before it happens so that you are ready for it. Once you put that foot into the desert you have made it a lot further than most but its not over. So what is going to have to happen before we make it to the other side to paradise? Well eventually our water is going to run out. We are going to start to get thirsty we might even start to get delirious and look over and see our friends and family on the edge saying MOOOO &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;telling us just turn back you are never going to make it through the desert. “why don’t you just come back to the pasture were you know you are safe and secure.” “The desert is a scam its one of those pyramid things. Normal people never make it through the desert” It must just be the heat though they would never really want that for us knowing what we are going to have when we reach paradise. So it must just be the heat playing tricks on us. So we keeping going through the desert. As we continue on our journey we start to get tired but we keep on trucking all the sudden we are stuck sinking. ITS QUICK SAND. There is going to be quick sand along our journey there is no doubt about that. There are things that will try to pull us down. The more we fight it the faster we will fail. Learn to let go and go with the obstacles that present them self and slowly bring your self back to the surface and keep on moving forward. Next we see water we must be there this is the month that we make it so we run, finally we are there. YAY I cant believe we made it but time keeps going and we keep running and it disappears. It was only a mirage we are not there yet. Feeling discouraged we start to seconded guess or self’s thinking maybe none of this is real maybe paradise is just a marriage. It would be so much easier to just turn back and go back to the pasture. BUT NO we remember why we started this journey through the desert so we didn’t have to wake up to the alarm clock any more, so we could be our own boss, to get away from the negativity to be free and never have to worry about money again. We remember that we have seen others make it to paradise it must be real so we keep walking through the desert. Our water runs out, we are hot tired but full of energy we know that walking trough this desert is the right thing to do so we walk proud. All of the sudden we see palm trees and water flowing is this paradise or another mirage? We start running again finally all of our hopes and dreams have paid off we knew we &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;could do it we are here we make it to the palm trees and its real. We set up camp and drink the water and we are living good for awhile. Not a care in the world. We knew we could do it. All of the sudden we wake up one morning &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;and the water is gone and the trees are dieing. It was only a oasis just a temporary success We are just not there yet. Maybe we adjusted our way of living to that of they way of life in the oasis and lost everything that we built in the oasis. &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;. Feeling discouraged we call one our friends. Not one of the cows back in the pasture because we know that they will just tell us how much better things are in the pasture and after seeing the oasis we know that there is a better way. We call one of our friends in paradise and we they pick up we start crying and telling them about our devastation. They just laugh. “Man this is serious I lost everything I built in that oasis none of it was permanent if this is what paradise is like I want nothing to do with it why are you laughing?” “ I’m laughing because we have all been through but it means that you are getting close. Every desert has a oasis and if you had not made it to that oasis you might have died out there in the desert . You might have starved to death. The oasis was a sign that you are on the right path is was a taste to keep you going of what the good life will be like. Keep pushing through the desert you are almost there.” So we pick up our stuff and we keep walking through the desert running into some pastures along with way with cows mooing and grassing and trying to get us to stay in the pasture with them. We have come so far we keep walking. Things start to slowly get easier we can see paradise in the horizon. Our bodies and mind have become conditioned to life in the desert. Walking across the sand become easier, We no longer feel hungry. We are confidant nothing will stop us. We walk faster bringing those along the way that want to come leaving those behind that don’t. We walk now with a team stronger than us and we walk through the desert together. We only walk with those who we know are going to make this journey and we don’t invite those that are going to hold us back for we are too close to have anything stop us. All of the sudden our eyes close and we fall to the ground. When we open them we are in the back of a limousine there is a man driving us. We look over at the other cars and can see peoples lips mouthing “lucky”. The car pulls up to big gates and we realize that we made it this is our house. We are in paradise. We let go of the outcome so much and were so confidant that we would be here we didn’t even realize we were already here. Our driver pulls up to the circle in front of our mansion we get out and look. Its huge. We have one of those circle drives ways and a large 10 car garage to hold all of our fancy cars. Mercedes, Lamborghini, Ferrari a hummer. We even have a helipad on the roof for our personal helicopter. We walk in and steep on our beautiful black marble floors and look at the huge window in front of us with a outstanding view of the ocean. Our cook is preparing a exquisite meal for us to enjoy. The phone rings and the butler answers it and brings it over. You answer its one of your friends. He says man I wish I would have. And you say I’m glad I did. &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;To think if you had not gone through that desert you would still be in the pasture with the cows. Einstein’s definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Lets not spend to much of our time with insane people. Bottom line answering questions with questions. LET THE PROSPECT DO 90% of the talking always let them do our job for us it is by far the most effective way of handing a sale.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="MsoNormal"&gt;You don’t necessarily have to memorized things to say from a script for to handle objections. Have you ever considered working for a living. I'm a union bridge-building carpenter working in the Chicagoland area. I make more money than anyone I know and I do it all myself without any scam. So take your scam, shove it up your BLEEP, let it fester for a while and if the rest of the world is lucky you will get colon cancer and die. BLEEP you, you lazy sack of BLEEP.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="MsoNormal"&gt;Now 98% most of the emails I get are extremely encouraging talking about how I have motivated people to move to a higher level in there life but for some reason every now and then I get a email like this one. Now I could get discouraged and think wow this guy is right why don’t I work for a living? Or I can use this as encouragement. Guess what I chose to do? We all have choice’s in life we can let other people keep us down or we can try to understand what they are really trying to say. I heard a cool analogy the other day that I think applies to this. If you put a crab in a bucket you have to put a lid on it or the crab will get out but if you put another cran in the bucket you can take the lid off because the other crabs will keep pulling each other down. That’s why they say stop being crabby hahaha. I chose to let this man lift me up not let him pull me down. I could of wrote him a nasty letter back and that was my first reaction about how what I was doing was right and telling him how rude he was. Instead I chose to take a deep breath and try to see things from his point of view. I ended up writing a thank you note for him taking the time to let me know how he felt about me. Lets examine this a little closer. This man is a very hard worker and through his social conditioning feels that the only way to make money is through sweet. His parents and role model’s in life were probably manual labor’s and so that’s all he knew. He was never thought that working smart is a much better way of working rather than hard. When he saw that I was making the kind of money that I make (Which is probably more the he makes)&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;working from my computer and never breaking a sweet. It made him angry. He was probably thinking because of he didn’t know any better. If someone can make more than me and not work as hard as I do they must be doing something dishonest and illegal. No one ever told him that 76% of millionaires are Investors and business owners and none of them doing any manual labor. I often have people tell me to get a “real job”. That makes me chuckle lets take a look at a couple definitions of a “real job”. One example is waking up every morning when someone else tells you to at the same time drive to a building. You spent your priceless time sitting in that building for 8 hours everyday building someone else’s dream. After that the clock hits &lt;st1:time minute="0" hour="17"&gt;5pm&lt;/st1:time&gt; so you pick up your stuff and head home you do that everyday Monday though Friday. (for some Saturday&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;and Sunday as well.) To find out that at the end of the month your silent partner who didn’t put anytime in named uncle same takes 50% of your pay check. You do that for 40 years (if you your lucky you don’t get let go do to down sizing or outsourcing) At&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;the end you have 40 bucks in your back account and a crappie pension coming in every month that you only get half of because your ex wife decided that your relationship “wasn’t working anymore”! SOUND CRAZY? It does to me. That is the number way people in &lt;st1:country-region&gt;&lt;st1:place&gt;America&lt;/st1:place&gt;&lt;/st1:country-region&gt; live there life’s. They tell be to go get a real job? What about that plan sounds appealing you would have to be a pretty convincing sales person to sell me on that plan but years of social conditioning and the need to feel secure is what drives people to think that, that is the best way to live there life’s. At the end they have just drifted though and have accomplished nothing. The funny thing is they weren’t even really that secure even though lay off are decreasing they are still happening at a extremely high numbers. “Initial filings for state unemployment insurance aid for the week ended March 31, increased to a seasonally adjusted 321,000 from an upwardly revised 310,000 the prior week,” (cnn news april 5&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; 2007). Don’t think that’s the plan for me how about you? Well Ryan I can a agree that having a job doesn’t sound like a great idea but you should start a real business like opening a retail store. Sounds a litte better right? Well I would a agree&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;that it is but still wouldn’t make any sense all things considered. If I were to open a retail store I see two options reinventing the wheel and coming up with a whole new Idea and plan. Problem with that is I have no education on starting my own business and because of that the odds are not in my favor. 90% of new business fail in there first 5 years. I think that is because of lack of education. My other option is buying a franchise. One the low end I would probably pay at least $100,000 and according to statistics I would take me about 5 years to see a profit. I don’t have the savings available to be able the wait that long with that kind of a investment do you? Ok so lets say that I did. I would have to then go buy or rent a building. I would have to pay for insurance, electricity, employee’s, a lawyer, inventory, a decorator, advertising to get people in the door and that’s not event guaranteed. I could spend 2,000 dollars and since I don’t know anything about marketing not even have one person walk in the door. So then I could hire a advertising firm and hope that they knew what they were doing. I’m sure there is more things that I cant think of right now as far as cost’s but you get the picture. On top of all those expenses I would have to do a ton of paper work and drive to my work all the time and make sure things were running smoothly. None of that is that horrible but I have found a better way. Imagine having a store where you only paid for the advertising for each individual that walked into the store and said that they wanted to know more about the product. Imagine that you could chose how many people walked into your store everyday. Isn’t that every brick and motor business owners wet dream? Well its real and its called coastal been around for 12 years now and 100% legal. So call me lazy, crazy or insane but I have found a proven system that has a total of on the max 11,000 dollar investment and people can get in for 1,000. I have no employees my over head is about 150 bucks a month for a couple websites and I spend maybe 700 bucks a month on advertising and can generate over a 100,000 a year with ease working about 40 hours a week. You can work this business from your house (no rent) and make more money than probably any of the people I talked about above. So you tell me who is the crazy one me or the people with the “real jobs”?
